Thoughts and Afterthoughts...

In order to understand my reasoning, you will first need to understand my frustration.

Unfortunately due to certain misconceptions that happen when posting things publicly, I will only address details in private.

The frustration is compounded over many years, many people, many experiences, many performances, and the old adage the “History often repeats itself.”

My reactions and words were way over the top, due to the circumstances at hand, that was the only way to get things done.

I accept accountability for all my words and actions, justified or unjustified.

This is the price I pay for taking the risk of making the comments that I feel are warranted.

You may not agree.

You don’t have to.

The “Ultimate Afterthought” is on the brink of becoming the “Forgotten Afterthought.”

How are you supposed to go out and do what you do best, when you are not given the opportunity?

Since you write here instead of replying to my email...

After all those "frustrating" years in DCA, you still don't know how to "let it go". Nothing EVER changes. You are taking this waaaaaayyy to seriously. This is just a hobby. Nothing worth wasting your energy, time and sleep over. You are not happy with the drill. I am not either. And this for the past 7 years. If i was marching Empire i wouldn't be happy with the music and the staff, and if i was march Cabs i wouldn't be happy with the uniform. There is always something wrong, everywhere. You either choose to suck it up and focus on the good things, or quit. Figure it out.

Life, work, drum corps are everything BUT serious matters. In my opinion anyway. The drill is not what you want but you can still have fun on the field. YES YOU CAN.

Please baby, stop being so frustrated about this. It's not worth it.

*wink*
