Weekend thoughts and observations.

In all I would say it was a great weekend. I saw a good mix of new faces and familiar faces around the camp. The talent level is much higher than last year in many sections. The commitment level of the members and staff of the organization seems to be much higher as well.

I suffered the usual information overload on Saturday, but during a 12 hour rehearsal there is always a lot of new information to process and you become somewhat brain dead towards the end of the day. It also didn't help that the school was having a softball camp at 7 am Saturday morning which they woke us up for. Who plays softball in December honestly?

Without giving things away, the Brigadiers are going to surprise people once again. There are some really neat ideas that we are incorporating into the entire brass program that people really need to come and check out this year.
