Hamburgers & Milkshakes
Before going to see The Pursuit of Happyness on Tuesday night, Christine and I decided to go and have a quick bite to eat. We ended up going to Nickels which is very similar to a 50's style diner which is owned by Celine Dion. Of course whever I go into a place like this I have to get two things that a diner like this was built on. I am talking about a hamburger, or in my case a bacon cheeseburger, and a milkshake.
The first words out of Christine's mouth when I ordered all of this were, "ewww gross!" Yes Gross! I explained to her that this is not gross at all. In fact many burger joints were founded serving these two things on their menu's. This was the draw for a place like this. Her argument is that the taste of the hamburger and the milkshake do not belong together because they are totally the opposite of one another. My argument is that they do belong together because they are totally the opposite of one another.For me it's like getting your dinner and your dessert all at the same time. Throw in some good salty french fries and you have got yourself the perfect meal. It is in no way healthy, but it sure tastes great!
I am 100% in favor of drinking a milkshake with my hamburger and fries! What do you think?

Milkshake n' burgers all the way! Where does milk come from? Cows. Burgers? Cows. Cheese? Milk/Cows. See the pattern?? And add bacon.. well they're all from the farm, right?

I know someone you used to (well, he probably still does) dip his burgers IN his milkshake and then proceed to eat.

Oh man I only drink strawberry milkshakes with my burgers, great match!
It's a good thing I just had pizza or I would have had to head out for a burger and a milkshake.
