I went to check out the movie 300 on the Imax theater yesterday, here are my thoughts.

I think I've seen Gladiator one too many times to truly appreciate it as much as I once did. I still bought it on DVD, but it is collecting dust...
I haven't seen 300, but I plan on it. I'm not sure where to find an IMAX theater, so regular screens it is.
Honestly, I think The Patriot is the best in the over-budget action genre. Braveheart fans can whine elsewhere.
The Patriot was a pretty decent film too, but it was one of Mel Gibson's "Epic" films that was just a bit too long!
I wrote a drum corps show based on music from the movie Gladiator, so needless to say in addition to seeing the film about 200 times I have also listened the the motion picture soundtrack as week as music that didn't make it to the movie about 300 times as well. Yes they made a second soundtrack of music that wasn't included in the movie!
